In a shocking incident along NH10, three hooligans allegedly assaulted Sikkim truck driver Manoj Chettri NH10 On West Bengal side.
According to sources, the attackers are residents of the Gelkhola. Despite the severity of the assault, no action has reportedly been taken against the culprits so far.
The incident has sparked outrage among social activists in and around Darjeeling, who have demanded strict and immediate action against those responsible. Meanwhile, a response from the Sikkim Truck Drivers’ Association is still awaited regarding the attack.
